The sporting calendar for March provides for an interesting mix of tournaments across sports.

The month kicks off with the first World Golf Championships for 2018 to be played in Mexico between Mar 1-7. Other notable golf tournaments include the LPGA Tour’s ANA Inspiration held towards the end of the month, 29th Mar-Apr 1 at California, USA

Apart from the ongoing football leagues played globally, Argentina will play host to the South American U-17 Women’s Championships. Venezuela has won the previous 2 editions and is poised to be front-runners at this year’s tournament. This tournament also serves as a qualification tournament for FIFA U17 Women World Cup.

Rugby Sevens action this month sees the USA Sevens Rugby tournament held between Mar 2-4 at Las Vegas, USA. This is then followed up by the Canadian Sevens Rugby tournament in Vancouver.

Major League Baseball (MLB) kicks off on March 29th with Marlins hosting the Cubs at home. Houston Astros were eventual World Series champions last year in a 4-3 finish beating Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 2018 IIHF Women’s World Championship Division 2 kicks off on the 17th March. This year the top division championships will not be held due to the 2018 Winter Olympics.
